About Us

The Story of Purvanchal

Purvanchal Story was born from a simple idea – to bring back the real taste of homemade pickles made with love, patience, and pure ingredients. We believe that food should be natural, honest, and full of flavour, just like the pickles prepared in our homes by our mothers and grandmothers.

In today’s fast world, most food is made with chemicals, artificial colours, and preservatives. At Purvanchal Story, we chose a different path. We follow traditional recipes and slow processes to create pickles that are 100% natural, homemade, and free from any artificial preservatives.

“Yahan har jar mein sirf swaad nahi, bharosa bhi hota hai.”

We use only fresh fruits, hand-selected spices, and pure mustard oil. No shortcuts, no factory taste – only natural ingredients that come together to create rich, bold, and authentic flavours. Each batch is prepared in small quantities to maintain quality, hygiene, and that special homemade touch.

Our roots are in the culture and kitchens of Purvanchal, where pickles are not just food but a part of family tradition. From sun-drying the ingredients to carefully mixing the spices, every step is done with care, time, and respect for age-old methods.

Folk Tales of Achaar - Purvanchal Story

The Summer Rooftop Story

Grandmother would cut raw mangoes, mix them with spices, and keep them in big glass jars under the sun. “Dhoop aur waqt se hi achaar pakta hai.” Patience and care bring real flavour.

The Bride’s First Achaar

Every new bride made her first achaar with love and tradition. Fresh ingredients and pure mustard oil made it a symbol of family and care.

The Monsoon Jar

During rains, a jar from last summer filled the house with aroma. Natural ingredients and proper storage always keep their goodness.

The Traveller’s Memory

A man far from home carried his mother’s mango pickle. One spoon made him feel close to home – emotion, comfort, and purity in every bite.

The Village Festival

At village fairs, women shared homemade pickles. Every jar had different taste, but all natural – keeping traditional flavours alive.
